Following dam failures and destructive flooding in 2020, Fisher Track at Northwood University needed to be completely renovated and reinstalled. Maintaining the project schedule and delivering on-time were both extremely critical in order to meet the needs of pre-scheduled fall sporting events. This remained a challenge throughout the duration of the project due to unpreventable weather situations. In addition, the special synthetic track system requires a minimum of 30 days worth of cure time on laid asphalt prior to installation. Even with difficult project circumstances, the project was delivered on-time to meet the needs of scheduled university activities.
Nationally Recognized
In 2022, Northwood University’s Fisher Track was recognized by Associated Builders and Contractors as one of the most significant construction projects completed during that calendar year. Fisher Track received a “Pyramid” Award, which is ABC’s second-highest national honor.
