The Middle of the Mitt Miracle Field is a fully accessible, soft-surface baseball field for athletes of all ages with physical and cognitive disabilities. The field includes a poured-rubber, barrier-free surface to provide a safe, fully accessible place for athletes to play baseball and other outdoor recreational opportunities.
Baseball for All
ADA accessibility was at the forefront of all construction activities. Handicap parking spaces are found in abundance in front of the field’s main pavilion, and curb-free accessibility is featured all along the main, south-facing entrance. Barrier-free accommodations are found throughout the facility’s footprint, including restrooms, fan gathering spaces, and for entrances to the field’s playing surface.
