Expanded Amenities to Serve the Local Community
As the local community continued to grow, it was clear that Jerome Township needed an updated fire department that would serve local citizens well into the future.
The new 11,145 SF station includes a backup generator system that maintains power across the entire structure during power outages, decontamination areas, storage spaces for equipment, a men’s locker room, a women’s locker room, a dispatch room, offices, and a meeting room that doubles the size of their former meeting area.
The station also includes radiant floor heating in the apparatus bays, facilitating the effortless melting of snow and ice from trucks and equipment during the winter.
