In 2006, the Michigan Baseball Foundation announced that the Great Lakes Loons would land in Midland and that a state-of-the-art baseball stadium would be unveiled before the 2007 season. Three Rivers Corporation and HOK Sport were hired to bring this vision to life, with only a year to complete the project. Over 90 subcontractors worked tirelessly to complete the project on schedule, logging more than 300,000 man-hours.
A State-Of-The-Art Minor League Facility
The facility’s success results from TRC’s and HOK Sport’s dedication to quality, innovation, and commitment to open communication and effective project management. To this day, over 15 years since its opening, Dow Diamond continues to be recognized as one of the premier baseball facilities in the country, providing a world-class experience for players and fans alike.
