Three Rivers began operations in 1976 when John Bartos, the company’s founder, wanted to make a difference in his hometown of Midland, Michigan. He might have been the only one who imagined 40 years later that the construction firm he founded, Three Rivers Corporation, would grow to employ nearly 400 people. The organization has been a leading contributor in the community and continues to make a significant economic impact in the region. Three Rivers continues to be dedicated to helping families, friends, and communities across the state of Michigan.

Three Rivers brings their unique expertise and a problem-solving mindset to every project by providing design/build, general contracting, construction management, and mechanical contracting services. Their 40th anniversary provides employees and customers an opportunity to reflect on Three Rivers’ cultural impact and influence on the construction industry.

“We are grateful to our customers for the opportunity to provide them with services and solutions,” said Dan Kozakiewicz, President of Three Rivers Corporation. “Our reputation is built largely on their projects, and we thank them for their trust and confidence.”

“Over the last 40 years, Three Rivers has remained strong throughout a constantly changing economy,” said Kozakiewicz. “I attribute our success to two things: First, to our employees, for the hard work and dedication they give every day. Without them we would not be who we are today. Second, we are never satisfied with the status quo. We continuously are looking for innovative ways to optimize our operations in every single area of the business.”
