The Spirt of Safety Award goes to someone who exemplifies commitment, passion and dedication to the safety for themselves, their colleagues, and their employer, while being committed to maintaining a safe working environment on their job sites. They have demonstrated ways to improve the company’s safety culture along with their customers. At the Great Lakes Safety Training Center Annual meeting on March 3rd this award was given to Brian Powers of Three Rivers Corporations. This is the first time this award has been given out.
In 2019, Brian Powers has gone above and beyond with his commitment to safety in the Great Lakes Bay Region. “Brian has exhibited a true commitment to transforming safety with Three Rivers and our industrial customers,” said Paul Crivac, Safety Director for Three Rivers Corporation. “We are consistently impressed by his achievements, delivery of safety, high-quality, and dedication to our employees and customers. Over the past year there have been many changes with our industrial customers and Brian has helped guide the safety process through the transition.”
